He has the tag of a hero: Hugo Armstrong. He is an actor. He lives in New York City. And he is hip to The Lord. I know little about him except he was turned on to Lord Buckley in his youth.

In this time of Plague the words of The Lord can go a long way towards shrugging off the malaise and doldrums that dog us every step of the way. So, take a couple of minutes and let Prince Armstrong lay a little of Willie the Shake on Thee.

His Grace the Mad Marquis de Mexico has hipped us to a swingin’ event that passed through the ethers back in January: Her Majesty Laurie Buckley, hip inheritor of the flip and the flap, the rip and zap guested on a podcast called “The PeP Talk”. She held forth on a number of subjects, deliciously serving up a generous portion of eye witness historical riffs on her dear swingin’ pater The Lord.
